On the way to visit an old college professor, two clean cut kids, Brad Majors and his fiancée Janet Weiss, run into tire trouble and seek help at the site of a light down the road. It’s coming from the Frankenstein place, where Dr. Frank 'N' Furter is in the midst of one of his maniacal experiments. Get ready for a night of fun, frolics, and frivolity in Richard O’Brien’s original musical stage script! Including “Sweet Transvestite,” “Damn it, Janet,” and of course, the pelvic-thrusting “Time Warp,” Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show is your ticket to a non-stop party! Don’t dream it – be it!
We do encourage audience members to arrive dressed up as their favorite Rocky Horror characters and do the "Time Warp" with us, but we won't be allowing outside objects into the theater for the safety and cleanliness of our theatre. Instead, you may purchase a $5 “audience participation bag” in the lobby prior to the show to enjoy the fun even more!
Three of the 11:00 pm performances will also feature a drawing for audience ticketholders for a free licensed Frank ‘n Furter costume, donated courtesy of J. J. Blinkers in Antioch, Illinois.
Tickets are $16 for adults, $13 for students and seniors. Due to the adult nature of this show, we discourage attendance by those under 16 years of age. Box office opens September 26 and you may purchase tickets in-person or by phone at 847-395-3055 on Monday through Thursdays, 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Saturday from 9:00 am till noon, or 1 ½ hours before the first evening show, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.

THE ROCKY VIRGIN INSTRUCTION GUIDE
So there you are, sitting in a dark theater waiting to see The Rocky Horror Show - Live! for the first time, when a strangely dressed person comes up to you and utters the immortal phrase ‘are you a virgin?’ Don’t panic, it’s not a proposition (although you never know your luck!). Anybody who hasn’t seen ‘Rocky’ before, whether they are 16 or 70, is commonly known as a ‘virgin’. Let’s face it, at some time in our lives we have all been virgins as for as ‘Rocky’ is concerned! But don’t worry, help is at hand. In order to guide you through the experience of The Rocky Horror Show we have included the original ‘virgin’ survival guide, the indispensable guide to ‘Rocky’ etiquette.
Dancing
Although not compulsory you may find that during the Time Warp you are the only person in the audience not on your feet. You dance the Time Warp by simply following the rule: ‘Do what it says in the song’. If you want to get up and boogie to other songs, feel free to do so – off stage – but remember that the Time Warp is the only dance that has well-known moves.
Audience Participation
Please note that it is considered very bad etiquette to throw something onto the stage, it could mean that the show is cancelled and hundreds of fans will turn on you in an instant! This is The Rocky Horror Show – LIVE – those people up there feel the pain of flying items when it hits them, unlike the actors on the screen. Audience Participation started back in the 1970’s in the USA and made it over to the UK a few years later. Originally only for the movie, the Audience Participation has become a part of the stage show as well, though more limited. Audience Participation should always enhance the ‘Rocky’ experience, never just be shouting out lines for the hell of it. It should be noted that many lines that are used for the movie viewing don’t work well for the stage production.
And Finally... Etiquette
Etiquette? I hear you cry – at a show with the principle of ‘Don’t Dream it, Be it?” Yep, there are still a few things to bear in mind when you are partaking in the ‘Rocky’ experience. The following three simple rules will help you and the other members of the audience to enjoy the show to the maximum pleasure level: #1 – Don’t throw anything at the stage, audience or performers – it can be dangerous and may result in the show being halted. #2 – Stay off stage at all times when performers are performing – unless a rowdy performer pulls you up from your chair (which could happen depending on the performance) – you are not permitted on the stage during the performance. #3 – Have fun!!!!!
